कपोती-विलापः स्वर्गसंयोगश्च
The Dove’s Lament and Celestial Reunion
वश्षित् क्षुद्रसमाचार: पृथिव्यां कालसम्मित: । विचचार महारण्ये घोर: शकुनिलुब्धक:
vaśṣit kṣudra-samācāraḥ pṛthivyāṃ kāla-sammitaḥ | vicacāra mahāraṇye ghoraḥ śakuni-lubdhakaḥ ||
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «កាលមួយ មានអ្នកចាប់បក្សីដ៏គួរឱ្យភ័យខ្លាចម្នាក់ ដើរល្បាតក្នុងព្រៃធំមហាសាល។ អាកប្បកិរិយារបស់គាត់ទាបថោក និងតូចចិត្ត; លើផែនដី គាត់ហាក់ដូចជា “មរណៈ” ឯង ដើរទៅមកគ្រប់ទី ដើម្បីស្វែងរកសត្វព្រៃ»។
