राजा शत्रुंजयो नाम सौवीरेषु महारथ: । भारद्वाजमुपागम्य पप्रच्छार्थविनिश्चवयम्‌

Transliteration

rājā śatruñjayo nāma sauvīreṣu mahārathaḥ | bhāradvājam upāgamya papracchārtha-viniścayam ||

Translation

ភីष្ម បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «នៅដែនសៅវីរ មានព្រះរាជាឈ្មោះ សត្រុញជ័យ ជាវីរបុរសរទេះសង្គ្រាមដ៏អស្ចារ្យ។ ព្រះអង្គបានចូលទៅជិត ភារទ្វាជ ហើយសួរគាត់ ដើម្បីឲ្យកំណត់ឲ្យច្បាស់ថា តើគួរធ្វើអ្វី—តើកាតព្វកិច្ចណាដែលត្រូវអនុវត្ត»។
