Dasyu-maryādā and Buddhi-guided Rāja-nīti (दस्युमर्यादा तथा बुद्धिप्रधान-राजनीति)
ददर्श त॑ पक्षिसुतं बाल्यादागत्य बालक: । ततो बाल्याच्च यत्नेन तेनाक्रीडत पक्षिणा
dadārśa taṁ pakṣi-sutaṁ bālyād āgatya bālakaḥ | tato bālyāc ca yatnena tenākrīḍata pakṣiṇā ||
ភីෂ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ ក្មេងតូចនោះ ដោយចិត្តក្មេងសុទ្ធសាធ បានដើរចូលទៅមើលឃើញកូនបក្សី។ បន្ទាប់មក ដោយសេចក្តីចង់លេងតាមធម្មជាតិកុមារ គាត់ក៏ព្យាយាមយ៉ាងខំប្រឹងលេងជាមួយបក្សីនោះ។ ទិដ្ឋភាពនេះបង្ហាញថា ការលេងដោយភាពសុចរិត បើភ្ជាប់នឹងការថែរក្សា និងការអត់ធ្មត់ នឹងក្លាយជាការសាកល្បងនៃទំនួលខុសត្រូវចំពោះសត្វទន់ខ្សោយ។
