लोमश उवाच सत्यं शपे त्वयाहं वै मित्रद्रोहो विगर्हित: | तन्मन्ये5हं तव प्रज्ञां यस्त्वं मम हिते रत:
lomaśa uvāca satyaṃ śape tvayāhaṃ vai mitradroho vigarhitaḥ | tan manye 'haṃ tava prajñāṃ yas tvaṃ mama hite rataḥ ||
លោកលោមសៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «បងប្អូនអើយ! ខ្ញុំស្បថដោយសេចក្តីពិតចំពោះអ្នកថា ការក្បត់មិត្តគឺជាការអាក្រក់គួរឲ្យស្អប់ខ្ពើម។ ហើយដែលអ្នកតែងតែខិតខំដើម្បីប្រយោជន៍របស់ខ្ញុំ នោះខ្ញុំយល់ថា ជាសញ្ញានៃប្រាជ្ញាដ៏ល្អរបស់អ្នក»។
