आपद्धर्मे राज्ञः नीतिः — Bharadvāja’s Counsel on Crisis-Statecraft (Śānti Parva 138)
अथ सम्प्रतिपत्तिज्ञ: प्राब्रवीद् दीर्घदर्शिनम् । प्राप्ते काले न मे किंचिन्न्यायत: परिहास्यते
atha sampratipattijñaḥ prābravīd dīrghadarśinam | prāpte kāle na me kiñcin nyāyataḥ parihāsyate ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ បន្ទាប់មក អ្នកដែលចេះវិនិច្ឆ័យបានត្រឹមត្រូវ បាននិយាយទៅកាន់អ្នកឆ្ងាយឃើញថា «មិត្តអើយ! ពេលវេលាដល់ត្រឹមត្រូវហើយ ប្រាជ្ញារបស់ខ្ញុំ ដែលដឹកនាំដោយធម៌ មិនដែលខកខានរកឃើញវិធីសមរម្យឡើយ; អ្វីដែលស្របនឹងយុត្តិធម៌ មិនត្រូវបានមើលរំលង ឬទុកចោលទេ»។
