बीजं भक्तेन सम्पाद्यमिति धर्मविदो विदु: । अन्रैतच्छम्बरस्याहुर्महामायस्य दर्शनम्
bījaṃ bhaktena sampādyam iti dharmavido viduḥ | anṛtaicchambarasyāhur mahāmāyasya darśanam |
ភីष្មបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ អ្នកដឹងធម៌ទាំងឡាយយល់ថា មនុស្សគួររក្សាគ្រាប់ពូជដោយការថែរក្សាដោយស្មោះស្រឡាញ់—សន្សំវាទុកសូម្បីតែពីអាហារដែលបានស្តុកទុកសម្រាប់ខ្លួន។ ក្នុងរឿងនេះ ក៏មានទស្សនៈដែលគេនិយាយថាជារបស់សំបរា អសុរាអ្នកមានមាយាធំ (Śambara) ដូចគ្នា៖ ចូររក្សាគ្រាប់ពូជ ព្រោះវាជាអ្នកការពារអាហារនាពេលអនាគត និងការបន្តរបស់ជីវិត។
