कि नु दुःखमतोडचन्यद् वै यदहं श्रमकर्शित: । भवतामाश्रमं प्राप्तो हताशो भ्रष्टलक्षण:
ki nu duḥkham ato 'nyad vai yad ahaṃ śramakarśitaḥ | bhavatām āśramaṃ prāpto hatāśo bhraṣṭalakṣaṇaḥ ||
ភីស្មៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «តើមានទុក្ខអ្វីធំជាងនេះទៀត—ដែលខ្ញុំត្រូវនឿយហត់ដោយការខិតខំ និងទទួលទុក្ខយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ហើយបានមកដល់អាស្រាមរបស់អ្នកទាំងអស់គ្នា ដូចមនុស្សអស់សង្ឃឹម មិនសល់សញ្ញានៃឋានៈចាស់របស់ខ្ញុំទៀត?»។
