एतेन च प्रकारेण कृत्यानामागतिं गतिम् । युक्त: समनुतिछेत तुष्टश्चारैरुपस्कृत:,इस प्रकार राजा सदा सावधान रहकर राज्यके प्रत्येक कार्यका आरम्भ और समाप्ति करे। मनमें संतोष रखे और गुप्तचरोंकी सहायतासे राष्ट्रकी सारी बातें जानता रहे
etena ca prakāreṇa kṛtyānām āgatiṃ gatiṃ | yuktaḥ samanutiṣṭhet tuṣṭaś cārair upaskṛtaḥ ||
ភីṣ្មៈបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ ដោយវិធីនេះ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រដែលមានវិន័យ គួរយល់ដឹងអំពីការមក និងការទៅ—ដំណើរ និងលទ្ធផល—នៃកិច្ចការទាំងឡាយ ហើយបំពេញភារកិច្ចដោយការប្រុងប្រយ័ត្នមាំមួនជានិច្ច។ សូមឲ្យព្រះអង្គរក្សាសេចក្តីសុខចិត្តនៅក្នុងចិត្ត និងដោយការគាំទ្រពីបណ្តាញចារកម្ម ឲ្យបានដឹងអំពីអ្វីៗទាំងអស់ក្នុងព្រះរាជាណាចក្រ។
