The Fall of Duryodhana and the Contest of Restraint
तदेवं विजय: प्राप्त: पुन: संशयित: कृत: । महान् प्रयास करके भीष्म आदि कौरवोंको मारकर विजय एवं श्रेष्ठ यशकी प्राप्ति की गयी और वैरका पूरा-पूरा बदला चुकाया गया था। इस प्रकार जो विजय प्राप्त हुई थी, उसे उन्होंने फिर संशयमें डाल दिया है
tadevaṁ vijayaḥ prāptaḥ punaḥ saṁśayitaḥ kṛtaḥ |
វាយុបាននិយាយថា៖ «ដូច្នេះ ជ័យជម្នះមួយបានទទួលរួចហើយ; ប៉ុន្តែវាត្រូវបានធ្វើឲ្យក្លាយជាសង្ស័យឡើងវិញ។ ទោះបានខិតខំយ៉ាងខ្លាំង—សម្លាប់ភីष្ម និងវីរបុរសកౌរវដទៃទៀត—ក៏បានទទួលជ័យជម្នះ និងកេរ្តិ៍ឈ្មោះខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ ហើយបានសងសឹកឲ្យពេញលេញ។ តែជ័យជម្នះដែលបានមកដោយការខិតខំនោះ ឥឡូវត្រូវបានធ្វើឲ្យមិនប្រាកដឡើងវិញ»។
