एवं तदभवद् युद्ध घोररूपं परंतप । परिवृत्ते5हनि क्रूरं वृत्रवासवयोरिव
sañjaya uvāca | evaṃ tad abhavad yuddhaṃ ghorarūpaṃ parantapa | parivṛtte 'hani krūraṃ vṛtrāvāsavayor iva ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ ដូច្នេះ សង្គ្រាមនោះបានក្លាយជារូបរាងដ៏គួរភ័យខ្លាច ឱ អ្នកដុតបំផ្លាញសត្រូវ។ ពេលថ្ងៃបានបត់ទៅរកចុងថ្ងៃ វាកាន់តែសាហាវ—ដូចសមរភូមិដ៏គួរឱ្យខ្លាចរវាង វ្រឹត្រ និង វាសវ (ឥន្ទ្រ)។
