वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes the ideal of generative responsibility and creative potency: beings described as radiant and extraordinary are praised not merely for power, but for being ‘like Prajāpati’—figures associated with sustaining life through progeny and orderly creation.
Vaiśampāyana is describing a group of extraordinary, sun-bright beings distinguished by having one, two, or three eyes, and characterizing them as progenitor-like (prajāpati-samāḥ) and endowed with offspring (prajā-vantaḥ), highlighting their stature and creative lineage.
