प्रायशो 5भिमुख: शत्रून् धर्मेण पुरुषर्षभ । पुरुषप्रवर गान्धारीनन्दन! आप धन्य हैं, क्योंकि युद्धमें प्राय: धर्मपूर्वक शत्रुओंका सामना करते हुए मारे गये हैं
sañjaya uvāca | prāyaśo 'bhimukhaḥ śatrūn dharmeṇa puruṣarṣabha | puruṣapravara gāndhārīnandana tvam dhanyaḥ asi, yasmād yuddhe prāyaḥ dharmapūrvakaṃ śatrūn abhimukhaṃ kṛtvā hataḥ asi ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ បុរសឧត្តម ដូចគោព្រៃក្នុងចំណោមមនុស្ស! អ្នកបានប្រឈមមុខសត្រូវដោយផ្ទាល់ ហើយតាមធម៌ ដល់ថ្នាក់បានដួលស្លាប់។ ឱ បុរសលើសគេ កូនប្រុសរបស់គន្ធារី! អ្នកពិតជាមានពរ—ព្រោះក្នុងសមរភូមិ អ្នកត្រូវបានសម្លាប់ ខណៈដែលភាគច្រើន អ្នកកំពុងប្រឈមសត្រូវដោយវិធីសាស្ត្រដ៏សុចរិត»។
