न वध: पूज्यते लोके सुप्तानामिह धर्मत: । तथैवापास्तशस्त्राणां विमुक्तरथवाजिनाम्
na vadhaḥ pūjyate loke suptānām iha dharmataḥ | tathaivāpāstaśastrāṇāṃ vimuktarathavājinām ||
ក្រឹបៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ក្នុងលោកនេះ ការសម្លាប់អ្នកដែលកំពុងដេក មិនត្រូវបានគេចាត់ទុកថាជាធម៌ឡើយ។ ដូចគ្នានេះដែរ ក៏មិនមែនជាការប្រព្រឹត្តតាមធម៌ទេ ក្នុងការសម្លាប់អ្នកដែលបានដាក់អាវុធចោល ហើយអ្នកដែលបានដោះរទេះ និងសេះចេញ (មានន័យថា មិនស្ថិតក្នុងស្ថានភាពប្រយុទ្ធទៀត)»។
