त॑ चिन्तयानमासीन धृतराष्ट्र जनेश्वरम् । निःश्वसन्तमनेकाग्रमिति होवाच संजय:,महाराज धुृतराष्ट्रको लंबी साँस खींचते और उद्विग्नचित्त होकर चिन्तामें डूबे हुए देख संजयने इस प्रकार कहा
taṁ cintayānam āsīnaṁ dhṛtarāṣṭraṁ janeśvaram | niḥśvasantam anekāgram iti hovāca sañjayaḥ ||
ឃើញព្រះមហាក្សត្រ ធೃತរાષ્ટ્ર—អធិបតីនៃមនុស្ស—អង្គុយលង់ក្នុងក្តីព្រួយបារម្ភ ដកដង្ហើមវែងៗ ហើយចិត្តមិនអាចស្ថិតស្ថេរបាន សញ្ជ័យ ក៏និយាយទៅកាន់ព្រះអង្គដោយពាក្យទាំងនេះ។
