Adhyāya 45 — Duryodhana’s Distress, Śakuni’s Counsel, and the Summons for Dyūta
रुक्मिण्यामस्य मूढस्य प्रार्थना55सीन्मुमूर्षत: । नचतां प्राप्तवान् मूढ:ः शूद्रो वेदश्रुतीमिव
rukmiṇyām asya mūḍhasya prārthanā cāsīn mumūrṣataḥ | na ca tāṁ prāptavān mūḍhaḥ śūdro vedaśrutīm iva ||
វៃសម្បាយណៈ បាននិយាយថា៖ «បុរសល្ងង់នេះហាក់ដូចជាប្រាថ្នាមរណៈ។ មុននេះគេបានទៅអង្វរញាតិមិត្តរបស់រុកមិណី ដើម្បីសុំរុកមិណី; តែអ្នកល្ងង់មិនបាននាងឡើយ—ដូចជាស៊ូទ្រ (Śūdra) តាមប្រពៃណី មិនអាចស្តាប់បទសូត្រវេទៈបានដូច្នោះ»។
