Samrāt-Lakṣaṇa and the Counsel to Check Jarāsandha (सम्राट्-लक्षणं जरासन्ध-प्रतिबाधा-परामर्शः)

(दुर्योधनं शान्तनवं द्रोणं द्रौणायनिं कृपम्‌ कर्ण च शिशुपालं च रुक्मिणं च धनुर्धरम्‌ ।।

duryodhanaṁ śāntanavaṁ droṇaṁ drauṇāyaniṁ kṛpam karṇaṁ ca śiśupālaṁ ca rukmiṇaṁ ca dhanurdharam || ekalavyaṁ drumaṁ śvetaṁ śaibyaṁ śakunim eva ca | etān ajitvā saṅgrāme kathaṁ śaknoṣi taṁ kratum || athaite gauraveṇaiva na yotsyanti narādhipāḥ | na tu śakyaṁ jarāsandhe jīvamāne mahābale | rājasūyas tvayāvāptum eṣā rājan matir mama ||

ព្រះក្រឹṣṇaមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «ទុរយោធន, ភីṣ្ម (ព្រះរាជបុត្រសាន្តនុ), ទ្រូណ, អស្វត្ថាមា កូនទ្រូណ, ក្រឹប, កರ್ಣ, ហើយទាំង សិឝុបាល; រុក្មី អ្នកធ្នូ; ឯកលវ្យ, ទ្រុម, ស្វេត, សៃប្យ និង សកុនិ—បើមិនបានឈ្នះវីរបុរសទាំងនេះក្នុងសង្គ្រាមទេ អ្នកនឹងធ្វើពិធីយញ្ញនោះបានដូចម្តេច? ទោះយ៉ាងណា ព្រះមហាក្សត្រទាំងនោះ ដោយគោរពកិត្តិយសរបស់អ្នក នឹងមិនចេញប្រយុទ្ធនឹងអ្នកទេ។ ប៉ុន្តែ ឱ ព្រះរាជា ដរាបណា ជរាសន្ធ មហាបល នៅរស់ ការទទួលបានរាជសូយៈសម្រាប់អ្នក មិនអាចធ្វើបានឡើយ—នេះជាការវិនិច្ឆ័យរបស់ខ្ញុំ»។
