भीमसेनस्य वेगाभिपातः—विशोकसारथिसंवादश्च

शेकुस्ते सर्वराजानस्तपन्तमिव भास्करम् | महाराज! द्रोणपुत्रकी वह फुर्ती देखकर वहाँ खड़े हुए सभी महारथी नरेश आश्चर्ययकित हो उठे और तपते हुए सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी अश्वत्थामाकी ओर आँख उठाकर देख भी न सके
śekus te sarvarājānas tapantam iva bhāskaram | mahārāja! droṇaputrasya tāṁ sphūrtiṁ dṛṣṭvā tatra sthitāḥ sarve mahārathī nṛpā āścaryacakitā abhavan, tapantam iva sūryaṁ tejasvinaṁ aśvatthāmānaṁ prati ca cakṣūṁṣi utthāpya draṣṭum api na śekuḥ |
សញ្ជ័យបានទូលថា៖ ព្រះមហាក្សត្រដ៏អធិរាជ! ពេលឃើញកម្លាំងក្លាហានដ៏សន្ធឹកសន្ធាប់របស់កូនប្រុសទ្រូណៈ បណ្ដាព្រះរាជាអ្នកជិះរថធំៗដែលឈរនៅទីនោះ ស្ទើរតែភ្ញាក់ផ្អើលអស្ចារ្យ។ ដូចមនុស្សមិនអាចលើកភ្នែកមើលព្រះអាទិត្យកំពុងឆេះបាន ពួកគេក៏មិនអាចសូម្បីតែសម្លឹងឡើងទៅកាន់អស្វត្ថាមា ដែលភ្លឺរលោងដូចពន្លឺថ្ងៃនោះបានដែរ។
