पज्चालेषु च शूरेषु वध्यमानेषु सायकै: । हाहाकारो महानासीत्‌ पञ्चालानां महाहवे,उस महासमरमें बाणोंद्वारा उन शूरवीर पांचालोंके मारे जानेपर पांचालोंकी सेनामें महान्‌ हाहाकार मच गया

Transliteration

pāñcāleṣu ca śūreṣu vadhyamāneṣu sāyakaiḥ | hāhākāro mahān āsīt pāñcālānāṃ mahāhave ||

Translation

សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ នៅពេលដែលវីរបុរសបញ្ចាលទាំងនោះ ត្រូវបានកាត់ផ្តាច់ដោយព្រួញជាច្រើន ក្នុងសមរភូមិដ៏ធំនោះ សម្លេងហ៊ាហាការដ៏ខ្លាំងបានផ្ទុះឡើងទូទាំងកងទ័ពបញ្ចាល—ជាស្រែកទុក្ខ និងការភ័យរន្ធត់ចំពោះការសម្លាប់ដែលកំពុងកើតឡើងមុខភ្នែក។
