sañjaya uvāca | dhanurvisphārayan ghoraṃ pariveṣīva bhāskaraḥ | śalyas tu hayānāṃ raśmīn hastena jagrāha | tasmin rathe niṣaṇṇaḥ karṇo bhīmaṃ dhanurvisphārya śuśubhe, yathā sūryamaṇḍale pariveṣaḥ |
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ កર્ણៈ អង្គុយលើរថនោះ បានពន្លាត និងបុកខ្សែធ្នូដ៏គួរឱ្យភ័យខ្លាច ហើយភ្លឺរលោងដូចព្រះអាទិត្យដែលមានវង់ពន្លឺព័ទ្ធជុំវិញ។ ខណៈនោះ សាល្យៈ បានកាន់ខ្សែបង្ខំសេះទាំងឡាយនៅក្នុងដៃរបស់ខ្លួន។ ឈុតឆាកនេះបង្ហាញសោភ័ណភាពដ៏គួរឱ្យស្ញប់ស្ញែងនៃសង្គ្រាម៖ ភាពភ្លឺចែងចាំងនៃយុទ្ធសិល្បៈ និងសញ្ញាអមង្គលលេចឡើងរួមគ្នា ខណៈឆន្ទៈ និងជំនាញមនុស្សត្រូវបានចងភ្ជាប់ជាមួយរថដែលកំពុងរត់ទៅរកអំពើហិង្សាដែលវាសនាបានកំណត់។
