बभूव तुमुल॑ युद्ध तयो: पुरुषसिंहयो: । चरित्वा विविधान् मार्गान् मण्डलस्थानमेव च,उन दोनों पुरुषसिंहोंमें मण्डलाकार घूमकर भाँति-भाँतिके पैंतरे दिखाते हुए भयंकर युद्ध होने लगा
babhūva tumulaṁ yuddhaṁ tayoḥ puruṣasiṁhayoḥ | caritvā vividhān mārgān maṇḍalasthānam eva ca ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ សង្គ្រាមដ៏គគ្រឹកគគ្រេង និងសាហាវបានកើតឡើងរវាងបុរសដូចសិង្ហទាំងពីរ។ ពួកគេបង្វិលជាវង់មូល ហើយផ្លាស់ប្តូរផ្លូវចូលប្រយុទ្ធជាច្រើន បង្ហាញល្បិចយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រផ្សេងៗ ខណៈពួកគេប្រយុទ្ធ—ម្នាក់ៗសាកល្បងជំនាញ និងសេចក្តីមុតមាំរបស់ម្នាក់ទៀត ក្នុងវិន័យស្លាប់រស់នៃសមរភូមិ។
