अपि स्वं समरे योधं धावमानं विचेतसम् । कर्णमेवाभ्यमन्यन्त ततो भीता द्रवन्ति ते,उस रणभूमिमें अचेत होकर भागते हुए अपने योद्धाको भी वे कर्ण ही समझ लेते और उसीसे डरकर भागने लगते थे
api svaṁ samare yodhaṁ dhāvamānaṁ vicetasam | karṇam evābhyamanyanta tato bhītā dravanti te ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ សូម្បីតែឃើញយោធារបស់ខ្លួនឯងនៅសមរភូមិ—រត់គេចដោយស្មារតីរញ្ជួយ និងខ្វះការតាំងចិត្ត—ពួកគេក៏ច្រឡំថាជា កರ್ಣ។ ដោយភ័យនោះ ពួកគេរត់គេចទៅទៀត ហើយការភ័យស្លន់ស្លោបានបំភាន់ការមើលឃើញរបស់ពួកគេ។
