अध्याय ८८ — घटोत्कच-दुर्योधनयुद्धवर्णनम्
Ghaṭotkaca–Duryodhana Engagement
(भीष्मो5पि दृष्टवा समरे कृतास्त्रान् स पाण्डवानां रथिनो हरुदारान् | विहाय संग्राममुखे धनंजयं जवेन पार्थ पुनराजगाम ।।
sañjaya uvāca | bhīṣmo 'pi dṛṣṭvā samare kṛtāstrān sa pāṇḍavānāṁ rathino hṛdārān | vihāya saṅgrāmamukhe dhanañjayaṁ javena pārtha punar ājagāma ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ ទោះបីជាព្រះបិតាមហាវីរបីស្មៈ បានឃើញនៅមុខខ្លួនលើសមរភូមិ នូវអ្នកជិះរថនៃបណ្ឌវៈដែលមានចិត្តទូលាយ សុទ្ធតែប្រដាប់អាវុធរួចរាល់ ក៏ដោយ—ទ្រង់បានទុកពួកគេនៅចំពោះមុខសង្គ្រាម ហើយដោយល្បឿនដ៏ខ្លាំង បានត្រឡប់ទៅរកធនញ្ជ័យ (អរជុន) ម្តងទៀត។ នេះបង្ហាញពីភាពបន្ទាន់ក្នុងយុទ្ធវិធីរបស់បីស្មៈ និងការផ្តោតចិត្តទៅលើអរជុន អ្នកយុទ្ធសំខាន់ដែលអាចបង្វែរទាំងសីលធម៌ និងជ័យជម្នះនៃសង្គ្រាម។
