Irāvān-nidhana-anantaraṃ Ghaṭotkaca-nādaḥ

तामापतन्ती विमलामश्मगर्भा महागदाम् | शरैरनेकसाहसैर्वारयामास गौतम:,उस निर्मल एवं लोहेकी बनी हुई विशाल गदाको अपने ऊपर आती देख कृपाचार्यने अनेक सहस्र बाणोंद्वारा दूर गिरा दिया
tām āpatantīṃ vimalām aśmagarbhāṃ mahāgadām | śarair anekasāhasair vārayāmāsa gautamaḥ |
សញ្ជយបាននិយាយ៖ ឃើញគដាធំសម្បើមនោះ ភ្លឺថ្លា និងរឹងដូចថ្ម កំពុងហោះមកលើខ្លួន គោតម (គ្រឹបាចារ្យ) បានទប់ស្កាត់វា ហើយបង្ខំឲ្យវាត្រឡប់ក្រោយ ដោយបាញ់ព្រួញរាប់ពាន់។ ឈុតឆាកនេះបង្ហាញវិន័យដ៏តឹងរឹងនៃសង្គ្រាម៖ សូម្បីតែគ្រូយោធាក៏ត្រូវឆ្លើយតបនឹងអាវុធសម្លាប់ដោយជំនាញដែលវាស់វែង មិនឲ្យចិត្តរអិលក្នុងភាពចលាចល។
