ततः स राजा सिन्धूनां रथश्रेष्ठी महारथ: । दुर्योधनस्य जग्राह पार्ष्णि सत्पुरुषैर्व॒त:,तदनन्तर रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ सिन्धुराज महारथी जयद्रथने कुछ सत्पुरुषोंक साथ आकर दुर्योधनके पृष्ठभागकी रक्षाका कार्य सँभाला
tataḥ sa rājā sindhūnāṃ rathaśreṣṭhī mahārathaḥ | duryodhanasya jagrāha pārṣṇiṃ satpuruṣair vṛtaḥ ||
បន្ទាប់មក ជ័យទ្រថ មហារថី ស្តេចសិន្ធុ អ្នកជិះរថល្អបំផុត បានមកដល់ជាមួយបុរសសុចរិត ហើយទទួលភារកិច្ចការពារខាងក្រោយរបស់ទុរយោធន។
संजय उवाच

Sanjaya reports that Jayadratha, the Sindhu king and a renowned chariot-warrior, arrives with noble companions and takes charge of protecting Duryodhana’s rear position in the battle array.
