(प्रच्छादयन् शरान् भीष्मो निशितान् कड्कपत्रिण: ।) भिनत्त्येकेन बाणेन सुमुखेन पतत्त्रिणा
(pracchādayan śarān bhīṣmo niśitān kaṅkapatriṇaḥ |) bhinattyekena bāṇena sumukhena patattriṇā
（សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖） ភីष្មបាញ់ព្រួញមុតៗ បិតពាសពេញសមរភូមិ ដោយរោមព្រួញដូចស្លាបសត្វកុក; ហើយគាត់ក៏បំបែកព្រួញទាំងនោះ—មួយមួយ—ដោយព្រួញតែមួយ ដែលបាញ់ចេញពីធ្នូរបស់គាត់ដ៏ល្អឥតខ្ចោះ និងហោះលឿន។
