भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय 54: फल्गुन-प्रतिरोधः, सौबली-व्यूह-विध्वंसः, दुर्योधन-भीष्म-संवादः
पक्षकोटिप्रपक्षेषु पक्षान्तेषु च वारणा:
pakṣakoṭiprapakṣeṣu pakṣānteṣu ca vāraṇāḥ
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយថា៖ ដំរីទាំងឡាយត្រូវបានដាក់ឲ្យឈរតាមស្លាបខាង និងស្លាបប្រឆាំង ហើយក៏នៅចុងស្លាបទាំងពីរផងដែរ—ការរៀបចំនេះមានបំណងឲ្យជួរយុទ្ធមានស្ថិរភាព និងទប់ស្កាត់ការបំបែកជួរយ៉ាងភ្លាមៗ។
