उत्पातवर्णनम् (Utpāta-varṇanam) — Catalogue of Portents
अनुगा वायवो वान्ति तथाभ्राणि वयांसि च | अनुप्लवन्ति मेघाश्न तथैवेन्द्रधनूंषि च
anugā vāyavo vānti tathābhrāṇi vayāṃsi ca | anuplavanti meghāś ca tathaivendradhanuṃṣi ca, rājan |
វ្យាសបានមានព្រះវាចា៖ “ព្រះរាជា! បើខ្យល់បក់តាមចិត្ត បើពពក និងបក្សីក៏ហោះហើរទៅតាមទិសដ៏សមរម្យដូចគ្នា; បើពពកដូចជាតាមក្រោយធ្វើជាឆ័ត្រស្រមោល; ហើយសូម្បីតែឥន្ទធនូក៏លេចឡើងនៅទិសដ៏មង្គល—ទាំងនេះជាសញ្ញាសុភមង្គលនៃជ័យជម្នះសម្រាប់វីរបុរសដែលមានវាសនាឈ្នះ។ តែសម្រាប់អ្នកដែលជិតស្លាប់ និមិត្តទាំងនេះវិលត្រឡប់ទៅជាសញ្ញាអសុភមង្គលវិញ។”
