Educational Q&A

The verse highlights that extraordinary perception and knowledge can arise through divine grace and disciplined insight, positioning the narrator as a trustworthy witness whose account is grounded in a higher, ethically charged perspective rather than mere rumor.

Sañjaya explains to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra the special powers he has received—suprasensory sight, distant hearing, mind-reading, and knowledge of past and future—thereby establishing how he can accurately report the events of the Kurukṣetra war.
