Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)
हयान् गजपदातींश्व रथांश्न तरसा बहून् निमज्जयन्तं समरे परवीरापहारिणम्
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | hayān gajapadātīṁś ca rathāṁś ca tarasā bahūn nimajjayantaṁ samare paravīrāpahāriṇam |
ធ្រតរាស្ត្រាបានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «នៅលើសមរភូមិ ខ្ញុំឃើញភីស្មា ដោយល្បឿនមិនអាចទប់ទល់បាន កំពុងបំបាក់បំផ្លាញ និងដូចជាលិចលង់សេះ ដំរី ទាហានថ្មើរជើង និងរថសង្គ្រាមជាច្រើនរបស់សត្រូវ—អ្នកដែលក្នុងសង្គ្រាម ក្លាយជាអ្នកដកយកជីវិតវីរបុរសភាគីប្រឆាំង»។
