उपानीतं तु पानीयं दृष्टवा शान्तनवोडब्रवीत् | नाद्यातीता मया शक््या भोगा: केचन मानुषा:
sañjaya uvāca | upānītaṃ tu pānīyaṃ dṛṣṭvā śāntanavo 'bravīt | nādyātītā mayā śakyā bhogāḥ kecin mānuṣāḥ |
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ ពេលឃើញទឹកដែលគេនាំមក ភីស្ម កូនរបស់សាន្តនុ បាននិយាយថា៖ «ឥឡូវនេះ ខ្ញុំមិនអាចទទួលយកសុខសម្បទាមនុស្សលោកណាមួយទៀតឡើយ; ខ្ញុំបានបោះបង់វាទាំងអស់ហើយ។ ទោះបីខ្ញុំនอนលើគ្រែព្រួញនៅទីនេះ ក៏ខ្ញុំបានលើសពីស្ថានភាពមនុស្សធម្មតា។ ខ្ញុំស្ថិតនៅទីនេះតែដើម្បីរង់ចាំពេលព្រះអាទិត្យ និងព្រះចន្ទ ប្រែទៅដំណើរខាងជើង»។
