ततो द्रोणाय निहतं भीष्ममाचष्ट कौरव: । द्रोणस्तत्राप्रियं श्रुत्वा मुमोह भरतर्षभ
tato droṇāya nihataṃ bhīṣmam ācāṣṭa kauravaḥ | droṇas tatrāpriyaṃ śrutvā mumoha bharatarṣabha ||
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ បន្ទាប់មក កៅរាវៈម្នាក់បានប្រាប់ទ្រូណៈថា ភីෂ្មៈត្រូវបានសម្លាប់។ លឺដំណឹងមិនគាប់ចិត្តនោះនៅលើសមរភូមិ ទ្រូណៈត្រូវបានទុក្ខសោកគ្របដណ្តប់ ហើយសន្លប់ទៅ—ព្រោះការដួលរលំរបស់ជើងចាស់ ជាសសរស្តម្ភនៃធម៌ និងរបៀបយុទ្ធសាស្ត្រ គឺឈឺចាប់យ៉ាងខ្លាំង ទោះសង្គ្រាមនេះត្រូវបានជំរុញដោយអធម៌ក៏ដោយ។
