Bhīṣma–Karṇa Saṃvāda on the Śaraśayyā (भीष्म–कर्ण संवादः शरशय्यायाम्)
ततो भीमो महेष्वास: फाल्गुनश्न महारथ: । कौरवाणां चमूं घोरां भृशं दुद्रुवतू रणे
sañjaya uvāca | tato bhīmo maheṣvāsaḥ phālgunaś ca mahārathaḥ | kauravāṇāṃ camūṃ ghorāṃ bhṛśaṃ dudruvatuḥ raṇe | ekaikaṃ tribhir ānarcchet kaṅkabarhiṇavājitaiḥ |
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ បន្ទាប់មក ភីម វីរបុរសមហាធ្នូ និងផាល់គុន (អរជុន) មហារថី បានបណ្ដេញកងទ័ពកૌរវដ៏គួរភ័យខ្លាចឲ្យថយក្រោយយ៉ាងខ្លាំងក្នុងសមរភូមិ។ ពួកគេបានបាញ់សត្រូវម្នាក់ៗដោយព្រួញបី ដាក់ស្លាបសត្វអក្សរ បង្កឲ្យឈឺចាប់ខ្លាំង និងបំបាក់កម្លាំងរុញច្រានរបស់សត្រូវ។ ដោយសមត្ថភាពមានវិន័យ និងការសហការរួមគ្នា ពួកគេចាប់ផ្តើមបំបែកកងទ័ពកૌរវដ៏សាហាវនោះនៅលើវាលសង្គ្រាម។
