ग्रसन्तमिव चेतांसि तावकानां महाहवे । दृष्टवा माधवमाक्रन्दे भीष्मायोद्यतमन्तिके
sañjaya uvāca | grasann iva cetāṃsi tāvakānāṃ mahāhave | dṛṣṭvā mādhavam ākrande bhīṣmāya udyatam antike |
សញ្ជ័យបាននិយាយ៖ ក្នុងសង្គ្រាមដ៏ធំនោះ មាធវៈហាក់ដូចជាលេបយកស្មារតីរបស់បុត្ររបស់អ្នក និងទ័ពរបស់អ្នក។ ហើយពេលពួកគេឃើញមាធវៈកណ្ដាលសំឡេងចលាចល ចូលទៅជិត និងត្រៀមសម្លាប់ភីស្មៈ ការរអ៊ូរទាំងមូលបានផ្ទុះឡើងគ្រប់ទិសដោយភ័យខ្លាចវាសុទេវៈ៖ «ភីស្មៈត្រូវសម្លាប់ហើយ! ភីស្មៈត្រូវសម្លាប់ហើយ!»
