अश्वमेधावसानम् — Dakṣiṇā-vibhāga and Avabhṛtha
Completion of the Aśvamedha
अपरिज्ञानमेतत् ते महान्तं धर्ममिच्छत: । न हि यज्ञे पशुगणा विधिदृष्टा: पुरंदर
vaiśampāyana uvāca | aparijñānam etat te mahāntaṃ dharmam icchataḥ | na hi yajñe paśugaṇā vidhidṛṣṭāḥ purandara |
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «នេះជាអវិជ្ជារបស់អ្នក ទោះបីអ្នកប្រាថ្នាចង់ដើរតាមមហាធម៌ក៏ដោយ ប្រសិនបើអ្នកបានប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តទៅលើការសម្លាប់សត្វ។ ព្រោះក្នុងយញ្ញ មិនឃើញមានច្បាប់ក្នុងសាស្ត្រដែលអនុញ្ញាតឲ្យសម្លាប់ហ្វូងសត្វឡើយ ឱ ពុរន្ទរៈ»។
