पितोवाच रूपेण सदृशस्त्वं मे शीलेन च दमेन च | परीक्षितश्न बहुधा सक्तूनादझि ते सुत

Transliteration

pitovāca rūpeṇa sadṛśas tvaṃ me śīlena ca damena ca | parīkṣitaś ca bahudhā saktūn adya hi te suta ||

Translation

ឪពុកបាននិយាយថា៖ «កូនអើយ! តាមរូបរាង អ្នកស្រដៀងខ្ញុំ ហើយតាមសីលធម៌ និងការគ្រប់គ្រងអារម្មណ៍ក៏ដូចគ្នា។ ខ្ញុំបានសាកល្បងអ្នកជាច្រើនវិធីរួចហើយ ដូច្នេះថ្ងៃនេះ កូនអើយ ខ្ញុំទទួលយកសត្តូ (ម្សៅស្រូវបារីអាំង) ដែលអ្នកបានបូជាមក»។
