Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
संवर्त उवाच मा स्मैव त्वं पुनरागा: कथंचिद् बृहस्पतिं परिदातुं मरुत्ते । मा त्वां थक्ष्ये चक्षुषा दारुणेन संक्रुद्धो<हं पावक त्वं निबोध
saṃvarta uvāca mā smaiva tvaṃ punar āgāḥ kathaṃcid bṛhaspatiṃ paridātuṃ marutte | mā tvāṃ thakṣye cakṣuṣā dāruṇena saṃkruddho ’haṃ pāvaka tvaṃ nibodha ||
សំវរតាបាននិយាយថា៖ «កុំឲ្យអ្នកត្រឡប់មកទីនេះម្តងទៀតឡើយ ដោយហេតុអ្វីក៏ដោយ ដើម្បីនាំព្រះបૃហស្បតិ (Bṛhaspati) ទៅឲ្យម៉ារុត្តា។ ចូរដឹងឲ្យច្បាស់ ឱ បាវក (Agni)៖ បើអ្នកធ្វើដូច្នោះ ខ្ញុំនឹង—ដោយកំហឹង—ដុតអ្នកឲ្យក្លាយជាផេះដោយទស្សនៈដ៏សាហាវរបស់ខ្ញុំ»។
