Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
मरुत्त उवाच संवर्तो्यं याजयिता द्विजो मां बृहस्पतेरञण्जलिरेष तस्य । न चैवासौ याजयित्वा महेन्द्रं मर्त्य सन््तं याजयन्नद्य शोभेत्
Marutta uvāca—Saṃvarto ’yaṃ yājayitā dvijo māṃ Bṛhaspater añjalir eṣa tasya | Na caivāsau yājayitvā Mahendraṃ martya-santaṃ yājayann adya śobhet ||
មរុត្តបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះគុណ! ពិធីយញ្ញរបស់ខ្ញុំនេះ នឹងឲ្យព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍សំវર્ત ជាអធិបតី។ ចំពោះព្រះបૃហស្បតិ នោះ ការបូជាដោយដៃប្រណម្យ (añjali) របស់ខ្ញុំ ត្រូវបានរក្សាទុកសម្រាប់ទ្រង់។ ហើយបន្ទាប់ពីទ្រង់បានធ្វើពិធីយញ្ញសម្រាប់មហេន្ទ្រា (ឥន្ទ្រ) រួចហើយ ថ្ងៃនេះមិនសមទេដែលទ្រង់នឹងស្វែងរកកិត្តិយសដោយធ្វើពិធីយញ្ញសម្រាប់មនុស្សមរណធម៌ដូចខ្ញុំ»។
