Book 14, Chapter 89
युधिष्ठिरस्तु तान् विप्रान् प्रत्युवाच महामना:
yudhiṣṭhiras tu tān viprān pratyuvāca mahāmanāḥ |
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ បន្ទាប់មក យុធិષ્ઠិរៈ អ្នកមានចិត្តខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ បានឆ្លើយតបដល់ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍ឥសីទាំងនោះ ដោយសេចក្តីថ្លៃថ្នូរដែលបានវាស់វែង និងការទទួលខុសត្រូវតាមធម៌ សមនឹងព្រះមហាក្សត្រសុចរិត។
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the ideal of dhārmic kingship: a ruler should respond to learned brāhmaṇas with humility, restraint, and moral seriousness, treating counsel and questioning as occasions for ethical clarity rather than mere authority.
