Ulūpī’s Disclosure and the Saṃjīvana-Maṇi: Arjuna’s Restoration (उलूपी-प्रकटनं संजीवनमणि-स्थापनं च)
कच्चिन्नु राजपुत्री ते सपत्नी चैत्रवाहनी । चित्राजड्भदा वरारोहा नापराध्यति किंचन,तुम्हारी सौत चित्रवाहनकुमारी वरारोहा राजपुत्री चित्रांगदाने तो तुम्हारा कोई अपराध नहीं किया है?
kaccinnu rājaputrī te sapatnī caitravāhanī | citrāṅgadā varārohā nāparādhyati kiñcana ||
អర్జុនបាននិយាយថា៖ «ប្រាប់ខ្ញុំមក—តើភរិយារួមរបស់អ្នក គឺព្រះនាងចិត្រាង្គដា រាជកុមារី កូនស្រីរបស់ចិត្រវាហន នារីដ៏ថ្លៃថ្នូរនោះ មិនបានប្រព្រឹត្តកំហុសណាមួយចំពោះអ្នកទេឬ?»
अर्जुन उवाच
The verse foregrounds dharma within the household: before judging or escalating conflict, one should inquire carefully and fairly whether any real wrongdoing has occurred, especially in sensitive relationships like co-wives.
Arjuna addresses a woman connected to him and asks, with concern, whether Chitrāṅgadā—identified as a princess and as Chitravāhana’s daughter—has in any way offended her, implying a situation of tension or suspicion that he seeks to clarify.
