उत्तड़क उवाच राजन गुर्वर्थिनं विद्धि चरन्तं मामिहागतम्‌ । न च गुर्वर्थमुद्युक्त हिंस्पमाहुर्मनीषिण:

Transliteration

Uttaṅka uvāca: rājan gurv-arthinaṃ viddhi carantaṃ mām ihāgatam | na ca gurv-artham udyuktaṃ hiṃsam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

ឧត្តង្គៈបាននិយាយ៖ «ឱព្រះរាជា សូមទ្រង់ដឹងថា ខ្ញុំជាអ្នកស្វែងរកការបំពេញបំណងរបស់គ្រូ; ខ្ញុំបានមកទីនេះ ខណៈកំពុងដើរតាមផ្លូវដើម្បីស្វែងរកវា។ បុរសប្រាជ្ញាបាននិយាយថា អ្នកដែលខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងដើម្បីប្រមូលអ្វីដែលត្រូវថ្វាយជាគ្រូទក្ខិណា មិនគួរត្រូវបានធ្វើហិង្សាទេ»។
