Uttaṅka’s Petition for Madayantī’s Divine Earrings (Maṇikuṇḍala) — Agreement, Proof, and Vigilance
ततः प्रोवाच पत्नीं स न ते सम्यगिदं कृतम् । शप्त: स पार्थिवो नून॑ ब्राह्मणं तं वधिष्यति
tataḥ provāca patnīṃ sa na te samyag idaṃ kṛtam | śaptaḥ sa pārthivo nūnaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ taṃ vadhiṣyati ||
បន្ទាប់មក គោតមៈបាននិយាយទៅកាន់ភរិយារបស់ខ្លួនថា៖ «នេះមិនមែនជាការធ្វើត្រឹមត្រូវទេ។ ព្រះបាទនោះត្រូវបានសាប្បន់ហើយ; ដូច្នេះ ព្រះអង្គនឹងសម្លាប់ព្រះព្រាហ្មណ៍នោះជាមិនខាន»។
