कālacakra-वर्णनम् तथा āśrama-धarma-निरूपणम्
The Wheel of Time and the Norms of the Āśramas
मासार्धमासगणितं विषमं लोकसंचरम् । तमोनियमपड्कं च रजोवेगप्रवर्तकम्
māsārdhamāsagaṇitaṃ viṣamaṃ lokasañcaram | tamoniyamapaṅkaṃ ca rajovegapravartakam
ព្រះវាយុទេវមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «វាធ្វើដំណើរឆ្លងកាត់លោកទាំងឡាយដោយលំនាំមិនស្មើ គណនាតាមខែ និងកន្លះខែ; វាជាល្បាប់ល្បាញជ្រៅដែលត្រូវគ្រប់គ្រងដោយភាពងងឹត (tamas), ហើយវាជំរុញឲ្យកើតឡើងនូវរលកកម្លាំងរហ័សរហួននៃក្តីរំភើប (rajas)»។
