Adhyāya 26 — Ekākṣara-Brahman (“Om”) and the Hṛdayastha Guru

तेषां प्रद्रवमाणानामुपदेशार्थमात्मन: । सर्पाणां दंशने भाव: प्रवृत्त: पूर्वमेव तु
teṣāṃ pradravamāṇānām upadeśārtham ātmanaḥ | sarpāṇāṃ daṃśane bhāvaḥ pravṛttaḥ pūrvam eva tu ||
ពេលពួកគេរត់ចេញទៅដោយចិត្តរំភើប ហើយពិចារណាអំពីន័យនៃអប់រំនោះសម្រាប់ប្រយោជន៍ខ្លួន សត្វនាគ—ជាមុនគេ—បានកើតចិត្តចង់ដំស។ ដូច្នេះ ពេលទទួលពាក្យណែនាំដូចគ្នា ក្រុមនីមួយៗបានបង្ហាញចរិតធម្មជាតិរបស់ខ្លួន បង្ហាញថា ចិត្តនិស្ស័យខាងក្នុងជាអ្នកកំណត់ការឆ្លើយតបខាងសីលធម៌។
