शिष्टो युधिष्ठिरो5स्माभि: शास्ता सन्नपि पाण्डव: | तेन तत् तु वचः सम्यग गृहीतं सुमहात्मना
śiṣṭo yudhiṣṭhiro ’smābhiḥ śāstā sann api pāṇḍavaḥ | tena tat tu vacaḥ samyag gṛhītaṃ sumahātmanā ||
យុធិષ્ઠិរ ព្រះបណ្ឌវៈ ត្រូវបានយើងទាំងឡាយណែនាំ; ទោះជាព្រះអង្គជាព្រះរាជា និងជាអ្នកបង្រៀនក៏ដោយ ក៏ព្រះមហាត្មាអង្គនោះបានទទួលយកពាក្យរបស់យើងដោយចិត្តត្រឹមត្រូវ។
वायुदेव उवाच
Even a capable ruler and moral instructor should remain receptive to guidance; true greatness is shown by disciplined conduct (śiṣṭatva) and the humble, correct acceptance of good counsel.
Vāyu praises Yudhiṣṭhira’s character, noting that although Yudhiṣṭhira is himself a leader and teacher, he properly receives and internalizes the words spoken by the divine speaker(s), highlighting his fitness for righteous rule.
