कथं केभ्यश्न धर्म्य च दानं दातव्यमिष्यते । कै: कारणै: कतिविध॑ श्रोतुमिच्छामि तत्त्वतः
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kathaṁ kebhyaś ca dharmyaṁ ca dānaṁ dātavyam iṣyate | kaiḥ kāraṇaiḥ kati-vidhaṁ śrotum icchāmi tattvataḥ ||
យុធិស្ឋិរ បានមានព្រះបន្ទូលថា៖ «តើគួរធ្វើទានដោយរបៀបណា និងគួរឲ្យដល់អ្នកណា ទើបសមតាមធម៌? គួរឲ្យដោយហេតុអ្វីខ្លះ? ហើយការធ្វើទានត្រូវចាត់ជាប៉ុន្មានប្រភេទ? ខ្ញុំប្រាថ្នាស្តាប់ទាំងអស់នេះតាមសេចក្តីពិត និងច្បាស់លាស់»
