आस्तीक-वरप्रदानम् (Āstīka’s Boon and the Interruption of the Sarpa-satra)
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपरववके अन्तर्गत आस्तीकपवरमें जनमेजय और सन्त्रियोंका संवादविषयक पचासवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārata-ādiparvaṇi antar-gata āstīka-parvaṇi janamejaya-sūta-yoḥ saṃvāda-viṣayakaḥ pañcāśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
ដូច្នេះ បានបញ្ចប់ជំពូកទីហាសិប នៃអាស្តីកបវ៌ ក្នុងអាទិបវ៌ នៃ «ស្រីមហាភារត» ដែលពោរពេញដោយប្រធានបទសន្ទនារវាងព្រះបាទជនមេជ័យ និងអ្នកនិទានសូត។ កថាបញ្ចប់នេះជាសញ្ញានៃការឈប់សម្រាកក្នុងការបន្តបញ្ជូនវីរភាព ហើយរំលេចវិធីសាស្ត្រធម៌របស់មហាភារត៖ ធម៌ត្រូវបានស្វែងយល់តាមរយៈការសួរ ការស្តាប់ និងការនិទានដោយពិចារណា មិនមែនដោយការអះអាងតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ។
