गन्धर्व उवाच संयोगो वै प्रीतिकरो महत्सु प्रतिदृश्यते । जीवितस्य प्रदानेन प्रीतो विद्यां ददामि ते,गन्धर्व बोला--महापुरुषोंके साथ जो समागम होता है, वह प्रीतिको बढ़ानेवाला होता है--ऐसा देखनेमें आता है। आपने मुझे जीवनदान दिया है, इससे प्रसन्न होकर मैं आपको चाक्षुषी विद्या भेंट करता हूँ

Transliteration

gandharva uvāca saṃyogo vai prītikaro mahatsu pratidṛśyate | jīvitasya pradānena prīto vidyāṃ dadāmi te ||

Translation

គន្ធर्वបាននិយាយថា៖ «ការជួបប្រទះជាមួយមហាបុរស តែងតែបង្កើនសេចក្តីស្និទ្ធស្នាល—នេះជារឿងដែលគេឃើញជាញឹកញាប់។ ព្រោះអ្នកបានប្រទានជីវិតឲ្យខ្ញុំ ខ្ញុំមានចិត្តរីករាយ; ដូច្នេះ ខ្ញុំសូមប្រគេនដល់អ្នកនូវវិជ្ជាសក្ការៈមួយ—ចាក្សុសី វិទ្យា (Cākṣuṣī Vidyā)»។
