Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)

वीटां च मुद्रिकां चैव हाहमेतदपि द्वयम्‌ । उद्धरेयमिषीकाभिशर्भोजन मे प्रदीयताम्‌,“देखो, मैं तुम्हारी गुल्ली और अपनी इस आअँगूठी दोनोंको सींकोंसे निकाल सकता हूँ। तुमलोग मेरी जीविकाकी व्यवस्था करो”

vīṭāṃ ca mudrikāṃ caiva hāham etad api dvayam | uddhareyam iṣīkābhir arbhajana me pradīyatām ||

វៃសម្បាយនៈ បាននិយាយថា៖ «មើលចុះ! ខ្ញុំអាចដកទាំងគ្រាប់បាល់របស់អ្នក និងចិញ្ចៀននេះរបស់ខ្ញុំ—ដោយប្រើតែស្មៅស្តើងៗប៉ុណ្ណោះ។ ចូររៀបចំអាហាររស់នៅឲ្យខ្ញុំ»។ ក្នុងបរិបទនេះ គាត់បង្ហាញជំនាញមិនមែនដើម្បីអួតអាងទេ ប៉ុន្តែដើម្បីស្វែងរកជីវភាពត្រឹមត្រូវ បញ្ជាក់ថា សមត្ថភាពគួរត្រូវបានគាំទ្រតាមយុត្តិធម៌ ហើយមនុស្សអាចសុំការឧបត្ថម្ភដោយវិធីសុចរិត មិនមែនដោយល្បិចកល ឬអំពើហិង្សា។
