वैशम्पायन उवाच विदुरस्तं तथेत्युक्त्वा भीष्मेण सह भारत । पाण्डुं संस्कारयामास देशे परमपूजिते,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन्! विदुरने धृतराष्ट्रसे “तथास्तु/ कहकर भीष्मजीके साथ परम पवित्र स्थानमें पाण्डुका अन्तिम-संस्कार कराया
vaiśampāyana uvāca | viduras taṃ tathety uktvā bhīṣmeṇa saha bhārata | pāṇḍuṃ saṃskārayām āsa deśe paramapūjite ||
វៃសម្បាយនាបាននិយាយថា៖ ឱ ភារត (ជនមេជ័យ)! វិទុរា បានឆ្លើយថា «ដូច្នោះហើយ» ហើយបានធ្វើពិធីចុងក្រោយសម្រាប់បណ្ឌុ រួមជាមួយភីស្មៈ នៅទីកន្លែងដ៏បរិសុទ្ធខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ ដែលគេគោរពបំផុត។
