अयाचन्त च मां राजन् वरं तच्च मया कृतम् । जाताउ्जातानू प्रक्षिपास्मान् स्वयं गड़े त्वमम्भसि,राजन्! उस समय उन्होंने मुझसे याचना की और मैंने उसे पूर्ण किया। उनकी याचना इस प्रकार थी--“गंगे! हम ज्यों-ज्यों जन्म लें, तुम स्वयं हमें अपने जलमें डाल देना'
ayācanta ca māṃ rājan varaṃ tacca mayā kṛtam | jātaujātānū prakṣipāsmān svayaṃ gaṅge tvam ambhasi rājan |
វៃសម្បាយនៈបាននិយាយថា៖ «ឱ ព្រះរាជា ពេលនោះ ពួកគេបានសុំពរពីខ្ញុំ ហើយខ្ញុំក៏បានប្រទានឲ្យ។ សំណូមពររបស់ពួកគេមានដូចនេះ៖ ‘ឱ ព្រះនាងគង្គា រាល់ពេលដែលយើងកើតឡើងម្ដងហើយម្ដងទៀត សូមព្រះនាងផ្ទាល់ បោះយើងចូលទៅក្នុងទឹករបស់ព្រះនាង’»។
